Photos are now up from Sundays action at the Newmont Boddington Gold Rally 2014.
This is what I came away with while doing road closers at 2 different points which I had to move each time and I had to stay in ear shot of the event radio. One bit of road was a tight left hander which competitors had to negotiate an old Toyota troopie that had been rolled and discarded long ago which everybody had a different idea on how to and how wide to take the corner (Newmont point 42). While the other spot was on a very fast section of road with very slight bends on it which made for some very challenging photos to get some action.
As for the weather it changed all day from been over cast to little glimmers of sun pocking through to rain in the afternoon with the event finishing in the dark.
