Gunkanjima - Battle ship Island, Kyushu, Japan 14-09-2016. The old Mitsubishi mining company coal mining island 4.5 km west of Nagasaki on the southern main island of Japan (Kyushu). The island was mined from 1810 to 1974 when it was closed Over time it had a big city above it with school and shop and home to more than 5300 people. The island is now a World Heritage Cultural property and given a little bit of notoriety used in the 2012 in the James Bond 007 movie Sky Fall.
