Old film scan's from the BP Oldfield's Desert Rally 1982 run out off Kalgoorlie as part of the Western Australian State Rally Championships. Very dry and dusty event with one stage having a very long salt lake stretch. The first stage was a publicity stage which combined both rally cars and off-road vehicles before they went and did there separate events. As for myself and my brother we where up in Kalgoorlie doing road closures on the rally.
